In light of the COVID-19 outbreak across the country and recent increase of cases of COVID-19 cases in Michigan, the Federation has decided to proceed with caution.
As part of the national response to reduce the spread of the virus and out of concern for the health of our staff, volunteers and clients we are cancelling this week’s Congregate Meals Program and rescheduling the presentation of Dr. Stuart Weiner. We will monitor the situation on a week by week basis and each Friday determine if we will resume the program for the next week. All volunteers who help prepare and pack meals should stay home this coming week.
Mobile Meals will still be prepared by our professional staff and delivered and we will work with those Congregate Meal participants who desire to provide them with meals during the cancelled weeks. Please contact the Federation office to make arrangements. 810 767-5922 or jcs@flintfed.org.

Our Jewish Film Festival Free View of the film Crescendo that was scheduled to be shown at the FIA at 7 pm on April 2 has been cancelled due to the closing of the FIA. It will be rescheduled. Also cancelled is our Community Holocaust Commemoration at the Presbyterian Church on April 23 at 7 pm. No determination has been made about our Film Festival from May 3rd – 7th.
