The General Assembly 2025 is coming up November 16–18 in Washington, D.C., and it’s always one of the most exciting gatherings of Jewish leaders and community members from across the country. It’s three days packed with learning, conversation, and connection—basically a chance to be in the same room with people who care deeply about the same things we do.

One of the biggest draws of the GA is the speakers. This year’s lineup includes Rabbi Angela Buchdahl, Micah Goodman, Daniel Hagari, and others from different walks of life—rabbis, authors, media voices, and leaders from Israel. Each brings their own perspective, so you get this really rich mix of inspiration and insight. It’s not just listening to speeches either—it’s about taking part in conversations that shape the future of Jewish life here and abroad.

For us at the Flint Jewish Federation, it’s also a chance to go as a group and share the experience together. Steven Low will be leading the trip, so you won’t just be showing up on your own—you’ll be part of a team, representing Flint and bringing back fresh ideas and energy for our community. If you’ve ever thought about going to the GA, this is a great year to do it.
