Community member Nancy J. Hanflik was appointed by the Flint City Council to the Hurley’s Board of Hospital Managers along with Harriet Scott. The November 13, 2017 council meeting in which she was appointed lasted nearly to 3 AM. Hanflik’s term on the board end on April 30, 2021. She replaces Isaiah Oliver, whose term expired on April 30, 2016.
The Board of Hospital Managers is a 15 member board charged with over seeing Hurley Medical Center and authorized under the Flint City Charter Sec. 6-201. The board is currently lead by chair Christopher Flores.
