Volunteer

The goal of jcare is to connect community members in need with resources that will help them.

We are looking for volunteers who, after participating in a training session with a social worker, will make calls and personal visits to potential clients, help identify the clients’ needs, and refer them to FJF for further assessment and referral.

Thereafter, the volunteer will keep in contact with their assigned individual or family on a regular basis, assess needs as they arise, and assist them as needed.

This is a joint project of the Asian Indian Community, Chabad House of Eastern Michigan, Congregation Beth Isreal, Flint Jewish Federation and Temple Beth El.
